Thanks for responding. . .it's a study for inserting her into a two figure composition, so I wanted gain some familiarity with her features first. So often I get very far with modeling the form and see something is off, so I'm trying to prevent that.

I'm with Jack on the line of the nose...and the ear.
Everything else is really nice.

Lauren, it's good practice and the drawing looks good, just check all the proportions before starting the main work.

I like her contemporary-old fashioned style :rolleyes:
She reminds me of the mother in "the Belelli familly" by Degas
