This is the painting I was working on that has so much detail. I love the ref...reminds me of the Berkshires....

Jean...It depends on how well defined the shape is. For instance, some of the leaves aren't distinct shapes, but rather "a clump of leaf", if you will. In that case, it makes better sense to vector the whole clump, and try to paint its individual elements.

The leaves..the stones, etc....I work hard to create a few that I like, then to copy and give the copies individual attention....:cool:
