Wow this is great . Not only do I love floating rock cities (why won't someone invent those ) but this painting is well done and has great atmosphere. I like lines joining the two together.
I wonder if the floating city in Gulliver's Travels (1730's) had the first floating city concept
03-16-2006, 03:08 AM
Very atmospheric and well executed, I love it. As a matter of interest, can I ask what size this image is?
03-16-2006, 10:46 AM
Waheed, looks like a scene right out of the game Myst. Hautingly beautiful. You should be painting composite backrounds for Hollywood.:)

I agree with Coop this looks like a piece out of Myst, perhaps the next edition LOL, it is my daughters favorite game. Lovely work!!!!
