Done with charcoals, pastels and watercolors in painter ix...:)

What a wonderful use of this reference (thanks for including the link)! Two suggestions...1) Define the ear a bit more, and 2) Look closely at your reference, and you'll notice that a shadow formed my the heel is useful in shaping that foot.

Kristen i agree about the ear and the feet. This morning, before looking at this thread i looked at it again and....didn't like the position and shape of the back foot so....today i'll rework it a bit....and add the missing ear.....:D :D :D

Kareen this is another goodie. Mmm, she does need that ear though. LOL, However, I think that the lack of realistic definition is one thing that makes your paintings so good. They show a creativity that comes from being artistic versus a copiest. For me, that is what draws me to your work!
