Hi Everyone!

I'm new here, but I've been having a blast looking at all the wonderful ATCs and ACEOs. Such fantastic work! Oh, I'm impressed...

Here are a few of mine. They are abstracts in watercolor -- it's been fun to play with such a tiny format.

They're surprisingly difficult to photograph. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks,
Karen

Welcome to the ATC/ACEO Forum Karen.
Your abstracts are very interesting. Do you do other types of art as well as abstracts?

I like the movement in these :)

Hi Val, Hi TeAnne!

Thanks for looking, and for your comments. I was trying to put a lot of movement in these, so I'm glad that came across.

I do mostly abstracts and some still lifes. ATCs are my only mini's. I've more posted on my web site at www.lifeneedsart.com (http://www.lifeneedsart.com). You're welcome to browse around if you like.

See ya later,
Karen

I think I am hungry for Sherbert! Love the motion and the colors. IMO, the sunrise could have just a tiny more darker value, but the other two hit the mood perfectly.

Thanks for sharing! Show us some more!

Very good to see some abstracts. Have you tried scanning instead of photographing your atcs? I find scanning better for small works.

Hi Geoff -- thanks for the suggestion about the colors. I'll have to give it a try.

Hi June -- thanks for the comments! I don't have a scanner, but I'm sure I can find a friend with one to give it a try.

See ya,
Karen
