the main point of this sketch for me was doing the glass with the paintbrush in it ... it's out of my sketchbook, where I often use watercolors to beef up my skills there...and lemme tell ya, flat paper definitly makes you WORK with the watercolors! Tell me what you think...

Me thinks the cupeth is going to tipeth over!

But you did accomplish the effect of a brush in a glass in water with the distortion.

Who's the young lady?? She looks very serious with her artwork...I like how u did her hair.

This definitely is a diversion from some of your other works you've displayed here...is this a new diversion?? Or an old one??

I should have mentioned that in the original the table line and hence the cup, is straight... something weird happened in my scan ...
I have a few sketches and watercolors like this, it's an ongoing diversion ;-)
This model is my #1 model, Christiana Little, she is an outstanding artist, also ... we have essentially learned to paint together over these last four years ...
She is the model in Femme Fetal, Ritual, Persephone (all 3 in the critique forum), and Kabuki dancer (in the drawing forum) ...
plus countless other paintings!
I've alternately called this "sketch artist"
and "jeanette painting cristiana painting jeanette" ... lol
