my current package for 18 x 24" pastels to send to galleries

pastel behind glass w/frame space,outside simple seamless linen liner(no cap) , simple wood frame moulding, very interchangeable
expensive though and add the gallery percentage, the galleries better treat them well!

the larger pastels are going into mats behind glass

along with bio and pastel info also provide a card with the image on the front and inside a picture of me painting said piece.

Wow, this looks like a wonderful way to package your work! Nice and neat...nobody could complain about the framing...it's not "too" anything and could fit into any decor. I like the little note cards and the photo that goes with each. Nice touch!

I like the understated framing. Sorry, these are too pretty to be called simple.

I like the cards also. What a neat idea! I have an original watercolor done by an artist near Grand Rapids, Mi. I wish I knew more about the artist, and a card like this to keep with the painting would have been wonderful to have.

It's perfect and wonderful. You don't want anything distracting from the outstanding paintings.
