Hi, welcome to tonight's Friday Night Drawing...

The rules are simple. You have 2 hours to draw one or more of these in any medium (or sculpt if you like) and on any surface you like. Hoping you all have scanners or digi cams, if not please try these anyway and maybe you can post them later.

You have 30 min to select a drawing.

There are 10 images to choose from, all on the same theme, Exotic Animals. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET to put FND (for Friday Art Event) on your threads, if you are posting opposite the main thread...

Remember to allow yourself some time to post your work before chat, which starts at 10:15 EST today in the Cafe Guerbois.

For those of you new to chat, go to the Community pull down menu in the upper left corner proceed from there after selecting Chat in the Cafe and of course clicking GO!

Animal I was expecting animals but not hard ones LOL Oh boy Hard to choose too. Will have to pick a couple and decide Probably will take me 30 minutes to decide too LOL

animal - i can't stick around for 2 hours tonight, so I'll do my tomorrow and post then. I think I'm going to do the flamingo. Great pics to choose from. Have fun tonight! oh sheesh! I've changed my mind, i might have to do the tucan. I guess we will just wait and see. cya!

It's a natural which one I'll be doing...but if I finish that, I will try to go a bit outside my comfort zone.

animal, I can't stick around for the 2 hours either. I have dinner to cook, and a husband that will need attention when he gets home. Can I post tomorrow too? Let me know in PM or here. I usually check in about 3am when the animals get me up to go outside.

Okay, this took me 20 minutes, but I just HAD to break in the new water soluble oil pastels. Apperently, I can't control them yet, or I was in a hurry to move on to the flamingo
(or perhaps the butterfly :confused: )
anyway, it was fun playing with a new medium.

on to the next! :D

Sorry guys but I can't play tonight. I have an infection in my right eye and everything is blurry all the time. I'll download a picture and work on it later this weekend. Sorry Animal.

Well, haven't done that in too long! That was fun. A little too literal and still lots to do, (like maybe the whole thing over!), but here's my last two hours. Luckily, Gallactic Fruit was on Community Radio, so was actually quite pleasant way to spend a Friday night. Thanks, Animal. L.

Great topic Animal! sorry that I couldn't make the FND (it's Sat afternoon here and sometimes tricky to get that time free:()
Loved the picures you posted ...really colourful, and everyone's work is as ever outstanding!!! Wish that I had the time to reply to everyone individually.
