Black Labrador in acrylic

I've recently finished this painting in acrylics of my friend's very old labrador. It was from a photo which was a bit blurry, and being an all black animal, I found it harder to paint than some others I have done. Anyway here it is...

aww, that is lovely, it has a beautiful gentle feel to it, perfect for a elderly black lab! i think your friend is going to be over the moon :D

Exceptional ! One of the best black lab paintings I've seen.

The juxtaposition of the reddish grey and the green/blues is a great colour choice.

Very well done! Reminds me of Bolivar, my hubby's old black lab, who passed away three years ago.
