Has anyone used Magic Smooth on an outdoor project? I was wondering because the product description says it will not shrink or crack, and it is cheaper than the Styrospray that I used on my dog sculpture - oh so long ago. I am doing signs for a school with some sculptural elements in them, but they mostly flat so I thought of using styrene foam for the base instead of urethane foam so fiberglass would be out. The StyroSpray worked great, but I think I would not use it again without a dump gun, so if this Magic Smooth works it may solve my problem without spending the extra bucks. Of course, the signs will be painted, so that will protect the coating and prehaps be enough. Any input is warmly welcomed.

I've never used Magic Smooth, but I have used Magic Sculpt. Since both are epoxy based, their finished properties should be about the same, and so I think I can safely say that it should work just fine.

Thanks Lisa
I think I am going to get a little bit and try it out as a test. That's the best way I guess.

Excellent! I thought it would be, but it's good to have confirmation. :D
