This charcoal sketch is entitled "Jury".
I've decided to watercolor over it in response to some questions regarding this process ... so here is the original and I'll be back before the end of the week with the update ...

Jeanette - Was enjoyable talking with you in the Cafe yesterday! (Hope to catch you again before long).
I like this expressive drawing very much..now, you will have to tell us your intention..The title "Jury", indicates that the female in the center is being judged..but for what reason? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts regarding this drawing.
I like it as it is..

I like to be judged, generally speaking, it can show character, thought, and honesty; but there are always times when people hiding things are your jury, hence the robes, and then you are not even a defendant, hence the nudity, because they are only hearing what they want ... hence the chaotic lines ...
tell me what you think...
