How cute. That looks so interesting.

no color? How sad, children like lots of color. Though cat and hat books dont have that many colors in them do they :)

Why the name Morbid though? (dont ask me why i typed in the other name, i think i was half asleep)

Put to the test of the 4 year old and 5 year old and you got..

"Giggle giggle giggle.. thats funny his eyes are all BLAAAAACK!"

They liked it!

The professional children you an A!

I don't know about children nationwide, but anytime you give these guys (I have 6 kids ranging from 14-4) a "kid" to look at thats funny looking, its a winner.

No Fair, davinci! I want to know how it ends!

I think (provided the story line bears the quality of the illustrations), you have a bestseller. Your illustrations are both complex and simple...I am not ordinarily a fan of dark literature, but I have a deep love of beautiful children's books, and I want an authographed copy of this one...so I'm sucking up now!

Would love to see more of your work.

wow Im flattered. I'd love to. Im still looking for a publisher, which is hard as there is little market for "dark" or "adult" children's books.

I work in Boston where adult readers hoard Richard Gorey's books and Lemony Snicket is the latest greatest hit at my office. Your artwork should be very marketable and timely with the success of these other works. Check out which publishing companys put them out.

Goodluck!

I like the drawing. I think you ought have no trouble finding a publisher for them. Very good indeed. Artmanplus.

I love the Nightmare Before Christmas font. I also really like your style. If I were a child, I would love your book...and do anyway...lol. I always adored dark, or slightly twisted books when I was young. When you are done, may i get a copy? I want to give it to my children one day:):cat:
