I recently found a piece I did about 20 years ago and compared it to a recent piece. There is just a tiny bit of difference, maybe not for the better but great for a laugh.

Are they both self-portraits? Looks like it. Wow. That's fascinating!

I know what your sig. line says .. I can't see the evil, mean and nasty .... but wicked????
Something in the eyes I do believe ;) ;)
Are you going to finish that second one then? .... and is it the one you started last year?

on the right is the self portrait, wish I were as good looking as the one on the left.
I have taken the right about as far as I want to right now. Afterall I am not good at portrait paintings. that is the one I started last fall after I got off the road and had no gumption to get anything done. I needed a jumping point and this one frightened me so much I had to paint to get over the nightmare.

speaking of self portraits.... lol I always though that your avatar was a self portrait untill I seen the self portrait by Pail Gauguin (1888 Rijksmuseum Vincent Van Gogh)

I think the one on the right has more artistic style. Love the colors.
