Today I tried using low quality but easy to work with ink to make some art cards. I soon realized that this was a bad idea and switched to the good stuff (Daniel Smith).

Here is one of the cards that made me smile as soon as I pulled it off the block. It is a two layer woodcut on blue cardstock. First I printed the tree in yellow, then I flipped it around and printed it in purple. The square marks were made by tapping a nail into the wood.

I will probably put it up for sale on eBay next week, I have supplies to buy!

I like the colours Marissa, especially the purple for the background.

Thanks. I turned this card into an 8"x10" print. Same idea but fleshed out a bit more. This is why I do the cards in the first place. Kind of like sketches.
