I was feeling pretty down after my last art card went for a lot lower than I had hoped it would. I put up a new group of five and told myself that if this lot didn't do well that I would back off of ebay. Well, six days left and the bidding is already up from 3.99 to 10.50 on one of the cards. This is the highest my cards have gone for so far. I still need to get back to why I do the cards in the first place. I do them as sketches for future, larger prints. Before I commit to carving a larger (often exspensive) block of wood I like to play around with smaller blocks and smaller images to see what works and what doesn't. Apparently the tree works and I am already working on a larger block of the same image.
