Hello everyone,
I just did a few ACEO's. I'm about to have a baby almost any day now so needed to do something fun!!!!!!!! I was just pouring acrylics, slapping paint around and having a good time expirimenting. I'd just like to know what people think. :)
Basically I poured watered down acrylic onto a larger sheet of watercolor paper, pressed saran wrap in and once dry, looked for interesting shapes, patterns, etc.
In the first one I see a reptile of some sort!!
The second I see is a heart (awwwww! Might have to give to hubby for Valentine's!)
The third, I'm not sure but I like the colors!
The fourth, a dancing inukshuk!
The last, some jungle leaves. I looove the colors in that one!!!! I also have a few more but too lazy to post them all!!!
thanks for any feedback, good or bad!
the inukshik and jungle colors seem to be a little washed out from the originals.......more vibrant in real life!
ciao!

Hi Nicole,

What a lot of fun you've been having :D I really like your results. I can see a telephone in the third one. The last one is my favourite -- great colours and a great design. I see land on the left with vegetation, water in the centre with an Island on it, and land again on the right. Up towards the top right there is a straight white line from the "island" to the right hand side land, and that looks like a bridge joining the island to the mainland. Love it.
All the very best with your new baby Nicole -- I hope you will post when you come home from hospital and let us know whether you have a little girl or boy and her/his name -- we like to keep up with our ACEO families

I like the pale colors you've developed.

Good luck with the impending birth. 8-]

I like #1. I saw an abstract crab. :)

Ellen, that is gorgeous. I bet you love Kath Kollwitz.

I saw an abstract crab when I looked at the first one too, so there you go Nicole -- you have some interesting work, and all with names to them.
