Finished this last night and listed it tonight.

"Heritage houses in Savannah, Georgia. This is part of 'Rainbow Row' - so called as each house has different color shutters. It was because the black servants were not allowed to be taught to read, so if any errands were to be run - they could say - go to the blue house, or pink house, or whatever."

Gouache (opaque watercolor). ACEO 2.5x3.5"

Very interesting Jillian. I've learned a little bit of US history that I didn't know before. Good luck with ebay.

Lovely card. And also a little bit of history I had no idea about. I like your auction template!

Thanks so much Val. :)
I tried scanning this, and it didn't work, and this photo is barely better. :(
There are interesting stories in many places. :)
Hope you're doing well.

When I went to Savannah the day was dark and dreary. You pay a set fee to travel in one of the sightseeing bus. I went around at least 5 times. I think I could repeat every story after that. AHAHAHAHHA! Also the road outside these houses was made of crushed oyster shells. :)
Thank you for your compliments on the template, it's just a simple one. Can tell how if anyone wants to know.
:)
Thank you.
Regards,
Jillian
