This drawing is full of life and light. Lovely.
It feels like a spring morning.
i like it but that is one loooong toungue! Is it really that long in the ref pic?

LOL. Yes it is that long. One of the reasons I chose this picture. I needed something to make me laugh, as well as color to brighten my day. I love shepherds, so the three things really made this a great photograph. I just had to paint it. I am still not done with him, but I needed to share.

I love the long tongue. I bought a German Shepherd figurine because his tongue looked like that.

:crying: I can barely see your picture! But from what I can see, you did a good job! Any way you can post a clearer pic? I love German Shepherds. This one looks like a pup, am I right? I say that because the ears are still kind of floppy looking, lol! My scottie pup was the same until her ears firmed up at about 3 months.
Good job Midge! It's really neat watching you branch out and develop your skills!

Thank you FaeLynn and Mel. I was thinking of doing this one over on better paper. The bristol vellum gives it a rather rough look. Am not sure what paper to use yet.
