I went to my plein air partner's house last week on a rainy day and we decided to paint indoors. She had a piece already started and so I looked around and decided to paint her centerpiece, a vase of yellow (yes Jamie, yellow, sorry...) roses that her husband had given her for her anniversary. It took me about three hours and when I was done she said she had to have it so she offered to buy it. I decided to give it to her. Well, that's why I didn't post it before today because it didn't make it home. I finally convinced her to bring it over so I could take a photo of it so I could post it here!! But I promise, I have been painting!

Beautiful work, Dianne. I love the softness of it. Great job on the foliage and glass. I like the way you put it into the setting too. I don't blame her for wanting to have it!
