I think here we have an excellent astract here. Your direction is Ok by me the watercolour like use of Acrylics is great. Do you think you could have attempted it in Water?

Very cool! I like this... I see a great resemblance to my buletin board! ;) My eye stays right there and searches for things I recognize and is never satisfied that it's found them all..... is that really a toothbrush??? Good job! Donna

I'm super new here . . .
I really like this, the mood is exceptionally strong. It kept my focus really well, not losing any interest. I first thought that it could have used a bit more depth, maybe using darker tones to pull back the center more, but then I looked at it some more and decided that it had just the right amount of depth. So there you are.

Thanks for your comments. As you know art making can be a very solitary thing. It feels good to get feedback. I'd like to think that by getting feedback here I will be able feel more confident and better about my work.
I find abstracts the most challenging to do well. You have succeeded with this one. I love it.

It's like Ikea
I like how the composition looks and how well it the whole room reads.

This is exactly how I used to feel as a child, in bed, in the semi dark of the house where familiar daytime objects took on a slightly menacing otherworldly cast.
Aside from that appealing trait I like it for its understated half color, entirely in keeping with the subject and mood. And I also like the tinge of cubism which seems to be cropping up rather often of late in others work. Very nice painting!

I like very much! The colors are very soothing.

Good Tension, I feel grounded but with a need to stretch to the top of the painting. The painting is broken up with a very Jazzy use of red,
and fragile black lines.
I like the blurried element, I am trying that too.

Thank you all so much for your feedback. Actually the work is 48 x 24 which means it is quite a bit narrower than it appears. It looks much better and balanced narrower. Next time I will make the pic smaller so it doesnt get squished so much. And thanks again. Regards,
