View Full Version : Rod's Bubbles!

I took a shot at the bubble painting that Rod has on the demo page. I decide not to put a figure in right now. Maybe at a later date I may add my grandson. Take a look at the upper right, I had a "happy accident" with a water drop or two. I cant decide if I should develop them into small bubbles or leave them as they are. What do you think?

Thnaks Rod for a neat and easy project!

I would leave them Rich, distant bubbles, love your rainbow pattern, its a fun way with watercolours,

Beautiful picture! Looks excellent that color combination and
composition of those bubbles

Hi Rich, I think those spots are to close to the edge of the painting -- my vote is to leave them or try to wash them out.

Good Luck,

You did a great job on the bubbles :) I tried this exercise some time ago and it is great fun. I think the marks on the upper right fit in very well - as Rod says, they look like distant bubbles.

Thanks for all the kind comments! I shall leave the small marks alone. I like them that way too! :)

This looks like you had fun. Leave the "distant" bubbles.

Joe, If it wasn't for Bob Ross, I wouldn't be painting today.

Looks great, Rich. Puts mine to shame. :D I love the idea of personalizing it with your grandson. I have my first grandchild coming up in April, so I may do this project again, stealing your idea!
