MY COMMENTS:
I don't love LNG tankers - it was just a ship I hadn't painted before. This is this morning's experiment with "Absolute Matte" (or AM) by Chroma which claims it's a whole new media. They described it as a cross between gouache and acrylic. Holbein already had something like that athough AM is far cheaper. I'll include two ships in other water based media for comparison (Cargo, acrylic on polyester, and Tug Before a Storm, waterolor on paper, 2005).

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
What do you think of the media - Absolute Matte? I think it smells and looks more like Flashe Vinyl than either gouache or acrylic. It's a little difficult to rewet and blend after application. Also it doesn't stick to some surfaces (I tried polyester before I used paper). Thanks
