Hi
Now J have painting with watercolors for nearly 9 years .And now J have begin with acrylic..WOW it is very nice. What a different. J often paint outdoors paintings with smog,in acrylic,on canvas.
Must tell you that J sold a watercolor in an auction in San Diego for some weeks ago.johanthunberg.net
Is there any painter with acrylic,please tell me your experience.

Hi Johan,

Here is a link to the acrylics forum at Wetcanvas, you might find some good information there. Sorry I can't help with the comparison to watercolors myself, since I don't use watercolors. I think there is an article by Nicolas Simmons on Wetcanvas about using acrylics like watercolors though.

There are some fine acrylic painters who do landscapes from life and post to that forum. Feel free to share your work there anytime!
