Remind me in the future just how unforgiving colored pencil is!
(I like the ability to erase! )

This turned out more like a colored sketch than a drawing, I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it or not.

Pretty photos though... thanks Arlene!

Nice job on the orchids with those colored pencils.

What's so bad about these orchids? I think they're beatiful! Good color on the flowers, and you set them off so nice with the dark background.
Well done.

Have a great day! :)

I can only agree with everybody else. Very nice orchids - only one thing that bothers me - the black background. For me (but this is REALY only my impression, not that you should take it seriously :D ) tha black background is too sad comparing with those light, delicate flowers.

Doesn't look like there's anything to forgive! ;) It's very nice -- I hope you finish it.

Hmm... Lady Grey? My background is medium to dark-ish green, not black (I think your montior has different settings) You may be right though, it is a little dark - I was going for contrast to show off the near-white blossoms, perhaps I over did it. Thanks for the nice comments! :)

oh that is sooooooooo pretty!
It's making me start to get annoyed with myself for delaying trying new things!
lovely work!

I'm starting to like doing the flowers, they're making me work in CP and use color for a change. I've done the iris now too, but I put it over in the CP forum instead, so the CP pros over there could point out what I did wrong... ;)

Here's the link if you want to take a peek: Iris from FND (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32399)

Jeee - I checked it twice - it really looks like black on my monitor. Well, I think it's time to buy a new one, so I can avoid such silly posts like the last one :D Sorry.

Oh don't be sorry silly! ;) no big deal, I just didn't want you to think I was any worse of an artist than I already am! :p

I think this is very good too....but I do find the dark a little too dark.
