Hi to you all,
This is my latest work in PSPX, a narcis in grey tone colors I enjoyed working with the lighten/darken tool on this one so much.
Just wanted to share.
Bye for now

Black and white always makes me sentimental for the old days! Nice piece
The flower looks great, values seem good :)
Perhaps i'm wrong but the stem needs a bit shading to give it more volume.

I agree about more darker values, especiall in the middle of the flower.

Perhaps you are right on darker colors in the heart of the flower but I was exercising with the Lighten/Darken brush in this drawing and I couldn't get the pressure right if I set the setting a bit too high it would darken too muich.
So, Il left it like it was above in the end, couldn't improve it more is the pity.
What's the equivalent feature of darken/lighten tool in painter ix? Liked this tool :)

Well I would love to know the equivalent of the lighten/darken brush in Painter too, I haven't been working in Painter IX much these days but i do have it on my computer. But I find it so hard to find my way around in it.
PSPX is just working so familiar I can't help, PSPX remains my favourite of all times. although AR2 is very challenging too I think.
