MY COMMENTS:
This started out as one thing and ended as something else.

I'm still trying to find myself in painting.

My favorite part is the Lamp Post.

I enjoy whimsical, free form pieces. I am trying to allow myself to just play. I always get a better piece when I free my inner critique.

This kind of shows the struggle between my controlling side and free side.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I don't like how the balcony turned out---suggestions would be fabulous on that.

The balcony should be lower or longer/wider.

I have not shown the bottom view of the balcony.

Frustrating.

I don't necessarily like this crop/resize of the lamp post but i guess it gives a better idea...

Hi Denisey! I like the free form and whimsicality of your painting. The balcony railing is perfect as it is.
The windows/doors behind it could be to better advantage if they were the orange color you have in the windows/doors below, just a touch of it. But what would really spark your balcony and that great lamp post at the same time is to make the lampost taller so the interesting light and the two streetname signs are played against the dark red facade of the building. Dont change the color of the lampost as iot ties to the delicate blue tracery of the balcony railing. lastly I would change the sky to avery dark blue to illustrate nighttime. The balcony is great!

Corvus  Thank you very much! Great idea about the top window colors and taller street lamp

I will work on that :D
