View Full Version : Looking for SIMPLE editing program

I am a pastel artist, switching from slides to digital images. All I plan to do is to work from my monitor while I paint - is probably to do simple changes - crop, change color intensity, saturation, fill, sharpen.......not complicated moves. I might want to exhibit my digital images. I could move to a more complicated program later, but right now, it is too much.

Suggestions for a non-techy pastel artist? I did have Photoshop 7.0, moved to Elements 4.0, then tried Picasa (which was fine, but then I had problems saving the original on Picasa.

I think the Elements 4 would be fine, I don't really see the need for anything else

Corel's PhotoPaint which comes as part of the CorelDraw Graphics Suite 12 is a good program for all the things you've mentioned. But I don't know if they sell it separately. I have heard that Elements is a good program as well, but I've never used it.

Hope you find what you need!
