Inspired by Waheed's tute, I dragged Artrage out of the closet for another go at it. I went without a sketch or a reference, though I did look at some lizard photos before painting to get a "feel" for the dragon.

That is quite interesting.
I would lower the mountain that is touching his chin though.

this looks good, very nicely painted digistyle. im happy my wip made u click on artrage....:).
though i do agee with the suggestion of lowering the mountain a bit thats touching his chin, but other than that, every part is done well, esp.the mountains and his eye. nice colors as well.

Artrage is a fun program to use, especially once you start to know the shortcut buttons.
Thanks for the catch on the chin issue. When I started blocking in the dragon, the head/face was much shorter and wider. As the dragon developed, I thought it looked like a green horse! :eek: I narrowed the head and lengthened the face, that where the chin/mountain issue originated.
