This is the pirate sketch I am working on. Done using charcoal on the canvas. Haven’t signed up for the project (yet) due to other commitments : ( ,Hope I can finish this one (using Acrylics) before the deadline and join in the project last minute.
Any comments welcome

Urbanpoet - great drawing. If you are working small, it may be difficult to paint, with all the details. I would say this is more of an expressive piece, as opposed to attention being directed toward accuracy of figure drawing. You've done a nice job on the gals, and again, it may have been difficult for you to get some of the smaller details (ie: features on the faces, hands, and feet) with the charcoal you are using, especially when drawing on a canvas surface.Was it a charcoal pencil? Or a stick of some form?. It is a little hard to "read" the position (distance) of the girl in the center, her position in relation to the others. You may be thinking of resolving these things with the paint.(?), but I think it may be difficult to do. A good scene though...pieces with multiple figures are always more difficult. Michael
