Thought you all might like to see my recent painting. A magpie goose and chicks. I have also included the original photo which i worked from, because i could not get the a photo of the goose in the postition i liked i had to make a composition of them in ps, this was made from four photos. as you can see i also changed some parts of the gooses body in the drawing which i then worked from. i have also included two closeups....and yes i did paint every blade of grass

This is nice work. I like how you've just suggested feathers. My only suggestion would be to add some shadows to the grass that around the bases of the birds.

nice, agree with the darker base needed for birds and shadows. Also, the grass is well done.

Thank you all for the nice commemnts, i shall have to spend some more time looking at the shadows around the bottom of the bird. the grass was the worst part of all skinny, because once you start youve got to finish it. It took two days! I did it with one and two pixel blenders.
