Another sketch of my daugther Anum with pen n ink with the mouse. The ref is very poor, specially the shoes are not clear so I tried my best to capture the pose.

The ref image.

The sketch.

Beautiful sketch, Shan. I like when people sketch the things they like and see around them. Is this a freehand?

Come with more. I too like sketching and I will post, what I have done yesterday evening.

I have retouched the face and tried to get more likeness to the ref. One thing I noticed is, sometimes if the size of immage is reduced , it effects the general visual quality of the picture. thatswhy I am adding a closeup of the face for details. I know I need lot of practice in this medium, so please do visit my threads and keep me guiding. Thanks again.:)

and here is the Closeup.

C&C are always welcome

Mom, her expression is quite interesting and it is shown in the sketch. I know you love her frock because you designed it and stitched it. I learnt a lot watching you live working on this.

I like this sketch. It's amazing what you do with a mouse. Great image!

Great to see you here, Shan.
This is really great work. I can't believe you used the mouse. It must have taken you some time to finish it.

Shan, welcome to the P&I forum. This is lovely, and I don't know that I would have guessed it was done digitally. What a cute little girl. I have played around with painting digitally but never drawing. Can you tell us more about it?

You must be extremely skilful with your mouse. Very good likeness and clean lines.

If you do engaged in mouse drawing for prolonged periods regularly, do try to get a tablet. Porlonged use of the mouse is a recipe for RSI which is painful, difficult to cure, and a major productivity killer.
