Practicing with faces. Tried to paint one of the faces i saw in a funny photograph taken by CP 'The wedding'. It's not perfect, the child seems a little older than the photo but i think with a lot of practice i'll do it better on each attempt...:) :) :)

Done with soft charcoal, soft pastels, stump blenders, bleach eraser and eraser eraser on gessoed canvas (in painter ix)

I don't know how old she is but surely with practice you will reach your goals. Very well done.

YOU GO, Kareen! I think you did very well. Your only problem is a lack of confidence.

It's probable 1500 pixels with 300 pixels per inch. (It's an approximation, i always start with 500 pixels but end up enlarging the canvas) Lately i've been painting in large format so the borders of the figures don't seem so rough, they seem to get better when i shrink the image to 500x600. Is there another technique?

The way I look at it is that they are all just practice, whether we call it finished piece or not! I find that seeing it that way lowers the stress level (for me anyway :D). I think you're doing fine and making great color choices!
