I wish I had the jpegs of the original 9x12's I did last year in St. Martin.
I liked painting the Caribbean ...at home when it was cold outside.

This is really quite beautiful. We are leaving for Jamaica on wednesday and I plan to bring paints. Sometimes the colors down there can be so awesome that it is difficult for me to nail them. what blues did you use? I love the way you handled the interplay between the evening sky and the water. Anyway thanks for the inspiration!

Paint only on the hotel grounds. There are snakes in paradise.:(

I use Ultramarine and Thalo Green in different combos.

The picture of you painting outside is fantastic. I might have the chance to paint in the Caribbean in a few months. Did you travel with wet paintings? Or have a storage box for them?
