Hello --this is fom a plein air painting I completed this week end. The farmstead has long been abandoned and it has turned into a home for scrap materials. .pastel on board.. comments welcome thank you Tom

When this opened up, I immediately thought, "Isn't it interesting that no matter what we paint, our style immediately comes through?" I saw this, and immediately knew it was you! Those wonderful burnt oranges against the snow. Gosh, how I love the way you do that.

I love the detail in the studio version. But there is something about the plein air..... <scrolling up and down>... yep, I love that one! How big was it?

Hm ... I think I prefer the plein air version -- perhaps because it looks so free and confident?

The studio version is completely different ... more detailed, but also beautiful in its own way ...

I like 'em both. I'm so glad you ... er... um... adjusted the road in the studio. Much better!

I like them both! The Plein air has so much character, it's really charming. The Studio version has great colour.
