Well not really...Missy took a nap on a shelf which has a nice warm radiator under it. 15 minutes of real live painting time plus lot's of foolin' around.

Roflol about the thread title. Oh, Lee, this is great! I think pets are much better at posing than kids. Does she like the painting?

I think we should have one of the monthly projects here be "paint your pet" or any animal from life. Way fun.

That's a hot cat Lee!:D BTW, your work gets better by the day, regardless of the subject. I felt like saying irregardless, but that's another story - I had a run in with a "writer" on Friday.

We have three cats and they are real characters. Aloof my furry foot!

This is wonderful, Lee! Thanks for showing us that you can paint animals convincingly without hyper-detail :)

Lee, I like your kitty. These are awesome paintings when done quickly. I think its a real winner. Its the moment that is hard to capture. Good Going!!!

Although my dog often doesn't move for hours, he seems to sense when I'm looking at him intensely -- which makes him intensely fidgety. Know what I mean?

Seriously, it's a fabulously loose yet absolutely convincing painting. Bravo!

nicely done Lee....love the posture and looseness!

When I first saw it and the title...thought it would have been funny to have had a Tomcat sitting outside the window wide-eyed and grinning in hopeful expectation!

another goody from the gooder!
