I am new to this type of art. I am doing a series on Baskets. Must each piece be an original on 3.5 x 2 or can I use copies of a larger piece and copy them small? I have some that I did 4x6 and some 5x7 and some 18x24. I would like to have them all the same size when I sell prints. Know what I mean?

I put this one 9 up on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper. The original size is 5x7.

Hi Midge,

All ACEOs are 3.5"x2.5". If you want to sell Prints, you can reduce any painting to that size. I know of several well-known artists who reduce their large paintings to this size and sell them as ACEOs. However, if you want to sell an Original, then it would have to be painted as a 3.5x2.5

I hope this is what you were wanting to know.

P.S. I find that painting small and then enlarging doesn't give a particularly good result, but by doing it the other way round, still gives great quality as a rule.
