These were done in Painter oils and fine oils. With the exception of the full bodied parrot it was done in PS using the stipple brush.

Thank you Smokin, Jean, Bev, Edie, and Susan

Bev...He was my favorite too I loved his little face! (also I do keep the orig .rif and .psd files so I can print as I want since those files are in the original size usually 8x10 inches. What I am tossing are the crop down sizes.)Here is another one I kept because I loved the way the light source came out. :cat:

Thank you Janet and Susan! ;o)

Susan...the key is practice , practice, practice and I don't feel like my paintings are anywhere close to the quality of work that is posted here on a regular basis but with that said...I enjoy it ;o) and I have fun when painting especially when I find something that I can really throw my emotions into. Also you learn sooooo much just by seeing what other people do. We are all on a learning journey and I don't believe you ever stop learning and developing in art.....we are all just on different levels. So just go with your flow of creativity and enjoy the journey! ;o)
Sorry I got so long winded here that is actually unusual for me LOL
