Well we were having 45 people for dinner and my wife wanted a big salad bowl for the ceaser so here it is had some fun with the spoons....
its 22 inches by 6 inches deep.....

Joanne thanks I carved my spoon moulds out of fiber board might get a few uses out of it.....they are nice but on the heavy side three layers of glass about 13 inches long and three at the spoon end......

Alan, what a great idea! That's just beautiful.
I've been thinking that I wanted to get a hand turned salad bowl all these years but now you've inspired me! I'm hoping to fire up my new kiln in the next month, this is definately a project I want to add to my list. Hmmm, I have a wonderful pair of ginko leaf shaped hand carved wooden salad spoons. Maybe I'll incorporate that design into the bowl. Geeze now you've really got me thinking....
