View Full Version : Mounting W/C Paper on Clayboard

I am trying new techniques to professionally display mixed media works that are on watercolor paper. I am trying to get away from the traditional framing behind galss/plexi-glass. Does anybody have any experience in mounting W/C paper to clayboard? I would like to mount completed work to clayboard, any experience or links would be appreciated

So are you not using glazing at all? You have to do this to provide adequate protection to works done on paper, regardless of how the paper might be mounted (and the medium for that matter).

If your work does not permit a final varnish or other protective coat, and its clarity that is at issue, then you could try the new anti glare glasses . They are amazingly clear - much clearer than glass . At 50 bucks a sheet wholesale they oughta be, too :)
