FND Feb1st - 12hrs late...

My apologies to everyone and most of all Bendaini the hostess, but at 10minutes to the hour of work time I was feeling like death warmed over. So much so that 9hrs later at 5am in the morning I got online and forced myself, cause I know the longer I put it off the more I will loose the intensity to do it. I did pick 2 images when they were posted, the castles and the first one, which reminded me of some european street...

And so that is the one I did. I did a quick 20 minute ink line drawing which explains why it's not very accurate. Then I knew I would have the energy to paint it, and had I started I'd never have finished. So I went to photoshop and did some muted color at about 50% opacity than normal. The last dark version is using a fresco filter just for fun...

I did enjoy this more than I thought, considering I never do buildings... this was fun, thanks for looking... ;)

Bobby, sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, you can see the night was a huge success, and as always, you don't disappoint! Job well done, I think you should go back and do it again in with a true watercolor wash ;) .

Oh Bobby, I can sympathize. I had a migraine yesterday morning that was making my stomach feel it was in a garbage truck. At seven-thirty pm, I was still sleeping off the effects of the medication! So I came to the event 2 hours late.

This looks lovely though. I can't get over how precise your line is (and that's doubly impressive seeing that you're feeling bad) I'm with Ivy, a watercolor wash would be awesome!

I really think this is great Bobby, even if you do say its not accurate :) and that colored one is very eye catching (okay i promised not to crit ;) )

I really like the way you did the picture -- turned out great. I'd have never guessed that it was done on the computer! I've gotta get a newer Photoshop. I'm still on 3.0
