This was a great topic. I almost never do stuff like this, but I think I'll be doing more. It was very enjoyable coaxing the forms and structures into shape. Went digital again, this time painting with Photoshop,

I love the mood of this painting....reminds me of a dungeon or something out of a scary movie

I agree with Debs, very eerie and VERY cool too!

(it needs some glowing eyes in the shadows or something) :evil:

Thanks, all, for the kind comments! I had planned on doing another but was having such a good time with this one, that I ran out of time.

Special thanks to Bendaini for choosing this subject. I honestly didn't realize how creative you can be interpreting architecture. I liked the results so much that I printed a 1200 dpi copy on canvas paper to frame and hang.

I like it better than the reference picture !:clap: :clap: Very eerie and it reminds me of the mines of moria in LOTR.:eek: :eek:
