Is there a difference between ACEO and ATC?

Rachel:
I've never done any yet, but I think ATCs are Artist Trading Cards that could be paintings or prints.
ACEOs are Artist Cards Editions and Originals.
I'm sure folks here can give you more info than that!!

Usually ATC Cards are just for collecting, whereas ACEO Cards are for Trading or Collecting.

What I heard is ATCs are traded only, never bought, and ACEOs can be bought and traded. I think its their only difference

Thanks. So they really are the same thing, just different names.

ATC's (artist trading cards) are for artists trading art cards with other artists. Not for profit. ACEO's are just a different title in order for it to be 'okay' with selling art cards for profit. ATC's are not meant to be sold where as ACEO's are. That is the only difference. ~ Avie
