Nice beads you guys!!! Makes me want to try florals again.
I used to post pics of my focals.... but they did not seem to be anyones cup of tea.... So... guess I have to work on sets so I can post something that is worth looking at. Will be finished with a set hopefully by mid next week.

Good Morning!
Patsy, all three are great! I think the first is my favorite.
Donna beautiful bracelet, I love to focal!
From me today, ok this is not a bead it is an off mandral piece..my first real off mandrel piece so even though it's not great, I love it
This is a little Ojime mouse, my husband says it looks more like a rat but he also thinks beads are boring so his opinion doesn't count!
My aunt first introduced me to these beads when I was playing with polymer clay, she wanted me to try making some, I never did. Then I saw Lenda's Ojime beads and thought what the heck. So, here is my first attempt. The picture is horribel, dark ivory is a bitch to photograph! He measures 24mm tall x 28 long and 30mm wide. The little brown marks on the hip are where my forceps got a bit too hot and marked the glass as I was putting him in the kiln.

Teresa!!! He's FABULOUS!! You did wonderfully for your first try, way better than my first! I'm really impressed, can't wait to see what you try next. Hey, where's the hole? Or is he off mandrel? It's addicting and I haven't done any in quite a while, but need to again.
Try a black background with light glass, it helps!:D

Hi Lenda, thank you! You inspired me to give it a try :p
Yes, his is off mandrel, not really an Ojime since there is no hole, more a little sculpture I guess. Thank you for the inspiration! I'd love to see you do more, yours are fantastic!
I'll try black, I tried grey but that didn't work either. I need a new camera, just hate parting with the money :p

Teresa, you sure nailed the look of an Ojime bead! I was sitting staring at the mouse and thinking that it looked like a beautiful antique Ojime bead. Only I couldn't think of the word "Ojime". I kept thinking "Obi" but I knew that was not right! Then I scrolled down and saw you mentioned the word.
It's just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing a picture of it!
