here are a couple from a book I illustrated called "Somebody I Love is Getting a Pacemaker"

I'm not sure how to load more than 1 image, so let's see if this works

Good looking stuff, man. Are these colored digitally?

thanks dnip. Yeah corey, I draw them by hand, scan it, run it through Adobe Streamline, then color, add stuff & tweak in Illustrator. Here's another from the same book:

Neat, Coyote.

I do something similar w/ Photoshop & Illustrator. How about inks? Is that done by hand and scanned? I like the look of hand-done inks myself, but i know plenty of folks who save outlines until the digital fun begins.

Keep on rockin in the free world.

yeah, I forgot to mention the Photoshop part. That's where I clean up the inked lines and make sure there are no "holes" so the coloring goes smoothly. On things like this I like a thick outline...sometimes I ink it by hand, sometimes I stroke it in Illustrator, so I can control the thickness..
