Hi Leslie....We've been around but leave in January for 3 1/2 weeks.

We will be in Tucson at the Gem Mall. I will be at my sister's booth "The Lady from Venice". If anyone wants to see my beads, I'll have to take them out from under the table. Johnny too!!!

Hey Pati! I bought some of your murrini in an ebay transaction about a year or so ago, and haven't had the heart to use them! They are sooo beautiful! and I haven't ever used murrini and I am a bit scared of it!

I looked tonight, and you gave me a couple of cougar murrini!!! I am dying to try to use it to make me a set similar to the one you are showing (a poorer version for sure) but it would just be for my own personal collection. I will have to research how to actually melt in the murrini, when placing it on a bead.

Your work is lovely. Truly art. It's inspiring!

Nancy,

First heat it in the kiln to 950. Then take your hemostats and pick up the murrini and place it on the bead. Heat it gently and touch it with a marver to keep it cool. Before you clear case it, blast it with an oxygenated flame and then clear case it with clean clear.

Good Luck!

Nancy,

Heat up the murrine in the kiln. When your bead is ready, pick up the murrine with hemostats or tweezers and apply it to a molten bead. Pat it lightly with a marver. If you are going to clear case it, before you add the clear, blast the cane with an oxygenated flame then clear case it.

Good Luck!

THANKS Pati...you are such a dear to help me.

That murrine I received from you was the BEST THING I ever got off ebay, and I was jumping for joy when I got it! Been too scared to use it, I have been waiting for my glass skills to become worthy enough to use this murrine.

THANKS A MILLION! ~Nancy B in IL
