Hi everybody!
here's a piece I did based on a couple plein air sketches. It's 22x34 oil on canvas. I used GAC to seal the canvas and clear gesso, so I was able to work on the off white canvas colour. It is an effect I quite like and I intend to experiment more with.

What do you think?

i don't know, is this possible??
To get so much depth in your painting ???

I find the little trees on the left a little bit od.

I like all the color in the birch trees and your painting does have a lot of depth in it. Gives the feeling of standing under the trees looking across the green areas.

It's a very nice painting. I like the way you use the foreground trees to aid the composition and push the distances.

Can you show us the plein air sketches too?
