After a long break from digital art, I have worked in Fractal Design Painter 4. Started again the digital art after 6 years. Now I did this in Painter 9 (cant resist myself as I saw Maria working in Painter). Still in progress. Hope to finish it soon.

Thanks JCoop, Leofaerie, Maria and Jean for the encouragement.

Here is the final piece, this is my first attempt after a lapse of time.

I found painter ix quite interesting.

Anum, I was watching you painting this potrait. When little Sabaina was trying to sit in your lap and wanted to grab your attention. You have done very well. I especially like the hair. The colors are lively. You need a bit more practice. When you go back home, keep practice. Dont waste your talent like me.....:(......lol..........rotfl.

Love, your Mom.

Thanks Barry and Waheed.

@Joel: :p because Maria showed me how to use impasto so its done in her style.

ANUM....It's terrific! The impasto gives your work such energy. You painted this with a child on your lap?! NO WONDER YOUR FAMILY GROWS ARTISTS LIKE CRAZY!!!

Sis, that is sweet. I love this piece. Yes you were out of practice but you did great.

Joel, its not my influence on her work but her influence on my work. She is my teacher of skin tones.....:)

Oh Thanks all for your comments.

Maria, you are a sweety. You never take the pride if someone compares your work with me. And remember, this is the sign of a great artist. I am impressed by what you have acheived in just 6 months what I did in 6 years.
