This work might have been better to post under composition and design. Each work should have one or two principal points, this painting is about design and composition in an abstract way...flowers are just the elements used for the design. I try that each of the spaces behind around etc the elements are ALL different, some edges softer, some hard, some colors rich, some pure, some dull etc..

I'm going to start doing big ambitious figure works. I'm building walls in the studio to do just that and I'm getting a digital camera to post new stuff in progress.

I LOVE the design, Tim.

This painting shows where realism meets the abstract-my favorite type of work! The positive and negative shapes really work and also the lost and found edges.

I can find nothing wrong!

Tim I like the painting because:

Great colours and colour combinations.
And, yes, I think it is a fine composition, the eye never leaves the painting.
Outstanding contrast which add depth to the painting.
And the way the blossoms just seem to push out at the viewer.

I have enjoyed the viewing -- Thank-You,
