This is a link to my digital diary (progress page) on this particular image. I am working on this in digital, currently, though, I would really love to learn to do this in oils.
Having read everything I can click my mouse on and trying to understand and apply what I am learning, I would like to test my "understanding" here. I "think" I am on my way to a good composition here. Though my intent is to convey a feeling here, I don't want to ruin the "thoughts" with a bad composition.
If you have the time to take a look at this and perhaps help educate me in what does or doesn't work, I would appreciate it.
