 Hello all i am new to wet canvas, and love it. my love of art started when i was very young, as do alot of artist.( All my art work up to date has been self taught ) I was away from my art work for many years and then i had a serious back injury and surgery 15 years ago and have had back problems ever since, two years ago i got back into my drawing and once again had another back surgery last April. so i am still trying to recover from that, but where i am going with this is i have alot of time on my hands LOL in the last two years i tried delving into different mediums, color pencil, oils, even water( but don't have a clue as far as water color LOL) I am now in the process of my first acrylic peice, and the first painting i have ever done of a human subject ( my daughter ) as i am a big animal lover, horses and cats ,that is usually what i draw.... but i ran across this site the other day and it opened my creative valve LOL, Thank you Wet Canvas and All the wonderful artist out there devoting there time to this site and helping others, as well as sharing your gifts and passion. This is my outlet in life as well as my passion, and i am looking forward to learning all i can, as well as sharing my love of art with others. And meeting some wonderful people along the way
Please as i said this is my very first peice so please be gentel , but i would also like any helpfull suggestions i can get :cat: Have a wonderful day all !!!!! (smiles & hugs)
Ps I mess up the dates on the first two pictures i forgot to change the date im my camera:o but the third has the right date
I approached this in layers, as i do my color pencil work,i still have alot of work to do. (work in progress up to date)

I would like to see the lower right eyelid pulled up a little bit. I think we are seeing too much of the white. that sort of think tends to make people look kinda spooky and this is a lovely girl. give her lovely eyes. you seem to be off to a great start with the hair. keep going. build up the flesh tones. let us have another look.
